The U Zvonu Hotel has prepared a special Family Package for you: a splendid invitation for you and your children to spend a weekend full of entertainment in Plzen. The package includes accommodation at a luxury apartment for 2 adults and 2 children at the U Zvonu Hotel. By your request, we provide a baby bed for the most little ones. The package price includes a visit to the Puppet Museum and Bogeyman Museum in the historical centre of the town. The underground garage directly next to the hotel is open for you free of charge for the whole weekend and you will not need hurry up on the last day of your stay and can take an advantage of the late checkout at 2 p.m. The package price includes breakfast with a wide range of choices at the Hotel restaurant.

Our hotel is situated next the Republiky Square at the distance of an about 2-minut walk. Within the walking distance are a business centre with cinema hall, bowling, and other sports facilities. The world-famous brewery is situated about 8-minute walk far from the hotel and we can arrange a visit to the brewery including a walk-down to the Brewery and visit to the Brewery Museum. Further interests for a family with children include the beautiful Plzen ZOO with Dinopark, botanical garden, and Japan garden. A great experience for your children will be a joyride by little train to the ZOO; this train will take you to the ZOO from the Republiky Square and back. Also fans of water sports will get their slice of the action: they can visit outdoor and indoor swimming pools, whirlpool, swirling currents, steam bath, helter-skelter, wild river, solarium, and fitness centre, and a swimming pool for the little ones.

Our non-smoker restaurant is all-day open for you and you can also have coffee at the Café hotel coffee bar. During the season on warm and sunny days, we offer you relaxation in our garden with view of the green in front of the Hotel. FESTIVE OPENING

Friday, April 28, 2006 the U Zvonu hotel was opened to public by a festive banquet. Tied up Martin Straka could not participate; he was represented in at least by his sport dresses ... and his hockey stick, which became a valuable trophy for the winner of quiz by Karel Šístek, moderator. Much success and prosperity wishes for the hotel and all its personnel were received from Mr Jaroslav Fišer, the hotel association representative and a member of executive board of the National Federation of Hotels and Restaurants of the Czech Republic well as from Mgr. Olga Kalčíková, deputy governor for tourism, marketing and non-profit organisations. Ing Jaromír Zavoral, the executive head of the Straka 82 s.r.o. and hotel director, and Ms Petra Němcová, the hotel manager, smiling ... Mr Marek Kotora, the restaurant manager, together with Václav Pach, chef, anxiously watching guests as to find out whether they like the meal. Mrs Mirka Šůchová, the chief receptionist, already delighted in commendations from first guests. The tables sagged under the weight of dishes ... We look forward to your visit.
