FESTIVE OPENING
Friday, April 28, 2006 the U Zvonu hotel was opened to public by a festive banquet.
Tied up Martin Straka could not participate; he was represented in at least by his sport dresses
... and his hockey stick, which became a valuable trophy for the winner of quiz by Karel Šístek, moderator.

The construction of the 2006 in the Plzeň region
On Thursday March 29, 2007 at the awards ceremony taking place at the Měšťanská beseda hall, award winning projects of the Construction of the 2007 in Plzeň Region Contest were announced. At the event, organised as a part of the FOR ARCH International Building Trade Fair in Plzeň, award-winners were selected in several categories of 12 nominated projects. The U Zvonu Hotel was awarded the title of Construction of the 2006 of the Plzeň Region in the new construction category. The project was completed last year.The Hotel building is situated in the centre of Plzeň near the square at the Pražská Street. The Hotel is of medium size and of upper category; it has 22 rooms and 5 apartments on three floors. On the ground floor are a hotel restaurant, coffee bar, kitchen, hotel reception desk and technological rooms. On the basement is an underground garage for the hotel guests.
